In the field of Applied Behavioral Sciences a lot of research can be done in laboratory settings. The Summer and Winter events provide a lot of opportunity for research and experimentation. Besides, the Members of the Society conduct research in their own institutions as a part of their regular work.
ISABS provides a networking mechanism for the Behavioral Scientists to disseminate the research work done by them. In addition, ISABS provides research assistance and fellowships to postgraduate students, research scholars and scientists to facilitate research.
The following types of research assistance are offered by ISABS:
- Supplementary Grants for Doctoral and Postdoctoral candidates to the tune of Rs.5000/- a year for conducting research in Applied Behavioral Sciences.
- Summer Fellowships for summer trainees from Postgraduate Institutions/Departments in Management, Social Sciences.
- Master's thesis grants, not exceeding Rs.1500 per project.
- Quick Studies, experiments and survey research grants, not exceeding Rs.5000 per project.
